On Feb. 21, the Hon. Donald Oliver hosted former Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia the Hon. Mayann Francis for a conversation on Prince Edward County radio. Francis, who served as the 31st Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia from 2006-2012, was the first Black Nova Scotian and the second woman to serve in that role.

Oliver hosted Black History Month programming on “The County Grapevine”, with guests including poet and playwright George Elliott Clarke and Federation of African Canadian Economics CEO and Tiffany Callender.
