On March 17, 2021, the Hon. Donald Oliver was a guest on CBC’s The Current. Black civil servants alleging years of discrimination have launched a class-action lawsuit against the Public Service of Canada. Host Matt Galloway spoke with two plaintiffs about their experiences, and with Oliver about the institutional barriers confronting Black Federal employees and his efforts to bring more Black people to the table and about issues of advancement and promotion.
